The quadrennial regional event, 'Sha Tin Festival,' officially kicks off this month! This year's festival, themed 'Sha Tin Resonance • Connecting You and Me,' will feature exciting activities over the next year centered around five core areas: 'National Education,' 'Urban-Rural Culture,' 'Recreation and Sports,' 'Youth Innovation and Technology,' and 'Community Care,' injecting warmth and positive energy into the community!

The opening event of the Sha Tin Festival, '18 Districts Vibrant Day and Night — 10th Sha Tin Festival Opening Ceremony and 'Sha Tin Resonance • Connecting You and Me' Shining City River Light and Shadow Spectacle,' will be held on September 19 (Saturday) at Sha Tin Park and along the Shing Mun River. Organized jointly by the 2026/27 Sha Tin Festival Committee, Sha Tin District Office, and Sha Tin District Council, the event includes specialty hometown and youth markets, inclusive performances, and a fireworks and light show. We warmly invite all 'Sha Tin Friends' to join family and friends for a weekend celebration, marking both the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day!

Youth Innovation Market: Features interactive youth stalls, hometown specialty snacks, and social enterprise booths. Spending at the stalls allows you to redeem limited-edition Sha Tin Festival souvenirs and shopping discounts at nearby large malls (while supplies last).

Stage and Singer Performances: Includes live singing by artists, performances by various local groups, and the heartwarming, unifying 'Community Inclusive Grand Chorus,' connecting hearts through song!
